Happy House Cleaning Services 

 

Thank you for choosing Happy House Cleaning Services. Our goal is simple: to provide 

reliable, high-quality cleaning services that leave your home or workplace fresh, 

clean and ready to enjoy. 

By booking a service with Happy House Cleaning Services (“Happy House”, “we”, “our”, 

“us”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. 

  1. Booking Our Services 

Services can be booked via phone, email, social media, online forms, or through our website. 

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Happy House. 

Recurring services (weekly, fortnightly or monthly) are scheduled in advance and reserved 

exclusively for our regular clients. 

  1. Scope of Services 

The scope of work will be based on the service selected, quote provided, or service agreement 

accepted by the client. 

Our standard housekeeping services may include: 

Kitchen cleaning 

Bathroom cleaning and sanitisation 

Dusting accessible surfaces 

Vacuuming and mopping floors 

Rubbish removal 

General tidying 

Additional services may be available upon request and may incur additional charges. Examples 

include: 

Inside oven cleaning 

Inside fridge cleaning 

Window cleaning 

Bed linen changes 

Interior cupboard or pantry organisation 

Steam cleaning 

Pressure cleaning 

Please note: Any work outside the agreed scope must be approved before commencement. 

  1. Pricing & Payments 

Our pricing is based on the service requested, property size, condition, frequency, and scope of 

work. 

Invoices are payable within the payment terms stated on the invoice unless otherwise agreed. We 

accept payment via: 

Bank transfer 

Credit or debit card 

Other approved payment methods 

Late payments may incur administrative fees and may result in the suspension of future services 

until the account is brought up to date. 

  1. Cancellations & Rescheduling 

We understand that plans change. To help us manage our schedule and team availability, we 

kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling requests. 

Where less than 24 hours’ notice is provided, the following fees may apply: 

Scenario Fee 

Less than 24 hours’ notice Up to 50% of the scheduled service 

fee 

Cleaner on-site and service cancelled or access 

unavailable 

Up to 100% of the scheduled service 

fee 

We always aim to be fair and reasonable and may waive fees at our discretion. 

  1. Property Access 

Clients are responsible for ensuring our team has safe and timely access to the property. This may 

include providing: 

Keys or access codes 

Building access instructions 

Parking information 

If our team is unable to access the property at the scheduled time, a lockout or call-out fee may 

apply. 

  1. Our Satisfaction Guarantee 

We take pride in our work and stand behind the quality of our services. 

If you are not satisfied with any aspect of your clean, please notify us within 12 hours of 

service completion. 

Where appropriate, we will return to address the concern at no additional cost. 

This guarantee does not apply to services outside the agreed scope or issues resulting from 

normal wear and tear. 

  1. Pets & Safety 

We love pets and are always happy to meet them. For the safety of our team, your pets, and your 

property, we ask that clients inform us of any animals that: 

May become stressed during cleaning 

Are protective or reactive 

May escape when doors are opened 

Clients must also notify us of any hazards or conditions that could affect the safe delivery of our 

services. 

  1. Damage & Liability 

Happy House Cleaning Services maintains appropriate Public Liability Insurance. While we take 

every reasonable precaution, we are not responsible for: 

Pre-existing damage 

Normal wear and tear 

Items not securely fixed or installed 

Damage caused by faulty fixtures or fittings 

Any concerns or damage claims must be reported within 12 hours of service completion. 

  1. Health & Safety 

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services where conditions are considered unsafe, 

hazardous, abusive, or inappropriate for our team. This includes but is not limited to: 

Unsafe access conditions 

Biohazards 

Aggressive behaviour 

Illegal activity 

  1. Service Limitations 

For safety reasons, our team does not: 

Work at heights above 1.5 metres without approved equipment 

Move excessively heavy furniture or appliances 

Handle hazardous substances 

Undertake electrical, plumbing, maintenance, or repair work 

  1. Privacy 

We respect your privacy. Any personal information collected through bookings, enquiries, or 

service agreements will be used solely for the purpose of delivering our services and 

communicating with you. 

We do not sell or share client information with third parties except where required by law or 

necessary to provide our services. 

  1. Changes to These Terms 

Happy House Cleaning Services reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions from time 

to time. 

Any updates will be published on our website and become effective immediately upon 

publication. 

Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms & Conditions.
